Hiiii! I'm Carmen Hall and Joe Hall And we are the owners of Bluebird Farm. Welcome to our farm Some people wonder why… are we… bluebird farm? when we first came here there was flocks of bluebirds here, so beautiful and fantastic. Maybe on our way we'll be able to see one?! We do a lot of things here at our farm We're a working farm. So, we grow crops We have a farm stand And we have animals – very friendly. And we also do weddings and events. Plus! We have some farmstays. So, we'll walk, show you around our beautiful farm. Behind us is we have a gazebo and it's full of flowers…
All around… all year they are popping up. When things go away, more come up. Inside there is electricity, two futons, a ceiling fan… so cozy, screened in. A fabulous place for people to hang out, some brides have gotten ready in there. It's – ah – multi-useful place. On our garden, on this side, we have many vegetables. And… we use for our spices And…
Our pickles And… also lots of flowers. Last year, huh sweetheart? We had 500 hundred sunflowers. Soooo beautiful! We have a fire pit, here. With our nice Adirondack chairs. My son, my son-in-law… we made those. And… nice and sturdy! And they're fabulous to sit in. At night time it's so magical here… The stars… just so bright… clear skies… Fabulous… This is our event space, we kept it very rustic So that it, it is in our theme of a farm.
It has electricity, water and we've had many different types of events in here. Weddings… parties and corporate events. And, so, we'd love to show you inside. We welcome you into our event space. We have these nice – ah – French Doors that open. And… Inside… It's quite spacious. Umm… We kept it very classic. So people could decorate as they wish. Some people put – ah – drapery or lights. … or however they want. Some people keep it just like this. And… on the backside the doors are open, but we have big farm doors that close. And with all the windows, one thing that's very important. is it (venue) can be considered an open pavilion. And, so, umm, in our times We can, umm, it can be considered an outside space. On the backside here we have have this beautiful deck. That – is almost as big as our event space.
And so, people use… this — and the inside (venue) multi useful. However, you want your wedding to be. It's your wedding day… it should be done your way! Behind us, we have a beautiful wedding arch. That is right in front of our garden. So the flowers are blowing, The wedding arch is there. And! We have benches that seat up to 150. That we put up there for free of charge. All of the spaces that we show you — is what is available the day of your wedding. You can have – like you say… we say… It's your day, if you want food trucks – you can have food trucks. If you want want a fancy sit down wedding – you can have a fancy sit down wedding. Ah… if you want peanut butter and jelly sandwich – go RIGHT ahead! (Laughs) It's your day – and so we close down our farm operations for the day of the wedding.
Our store is closed. And everything (else). And, so, you have the whole property to yourself. Which is extremely private, secluded and for your own use. This is area we have these homemade farm tables. My son-in-law and my husband built these things. A lot of work! (Laughs) My son… he found the pattern (Laughs) So, anyway, family event! So this seating area is awesome for breakfast and (for) people – that spend the night. They can have have like a brunch here… some people have rehearsal dinner here. And with the lights in the night… sooo magical! Fabulous space… One big thing that differentiates us from other venues Is we have two farmstays So we have a fabulous treehouse and a barn loft. And so what people do is they rent it say they have a Saturday wedding. They rent it Friday and Saturday. So Friday they come, they have full access of the property They can set-up… have fun… have a bonfire… at night decorate… do their walk through — rehearsal dinner. and then in the morning they wake up and everything is done.
They are able to get pampered… enjoy their day, with their friends. Have their ceremony… reception… and then not worry about having to clean up that night. They have until 11 o'clock the next morning to clean and be out. It's fabulous! So behind us is where we do the parking. It's in our pasture, but of course the animals are not there that night. So, my husband is at the end of the driveway – he puts everybody in and they come through the gate.
So… it's very spacious… for lots of cars. And… school buses! Well I hope you liked our tour of our beautiful farm – Bluebird Farm. And… just to recap a little bit of things. If you do your wedding or event here, we do have a list of (suggested) vendors but you do not need to use them. It is your day, flexibility and accommodation is prime for us Yes it is And so you can pick your vendors and have your wedding your way.
At our farm it's all about family and friends. And making memories Listening to people's stories and sharing our lives with yours.
