Because that's something that we put off to the end we were like let future Joss and Janik deal with it yeah and now we are here with the problem -yeah so that's why today we're here in London and we're going to a district that's famous that has so many jewelry stores, we don't even know where to start we are recording! this is bullocks! train is coming! ok talk to you later! -to be continued..
[Music] uh were you fast enough? yeah we can send it to ourselves! -I mean it's gonna come back so.. on TV I saw a commercial from Cadbury which is a brand of chocolate here in the Netherlands and they said if you find one of those ads you have to scan a QR code and then you can send a free chocolate to someone in case you didn't know..
We are here in the Netherlands… oh! no! in England sorry! look -look there it is send a free chocolate here so I scanned it and it says "sorry the Cadbury secret santa postal service is out of chocolate" oh man … so where were we? oh yeah welcome to the Diamond District in London! [Music] [Music] I don't think that's the name but you know what we mean oh my gosh weirdo! -am I cool or am I cool? So this jewerly district is an area in London that's full of jewelry stores as you might have guessed…
We could probably spend an entire week here looking for wedding rings but we only have today so we have to make it count we're not 100 sure which type of rings we're looking for but we know that we do not want matching rings matching Rings -matching because you know we really have different styles and I don't want a ring full of sparkly diamonds -yes and I want one yeah we also want a ring that is ethically sourced and not too expensive -yeah that's all.. good luck we made it to a market area, we're looking for a jewelry store that's supposed to have cheaper rings and very nice ones but we cannot find it.. I think it's somewhere inside of that building it's very hidden [Music] [Music] did we find our wedding rings? -I don't know.. did we? so that was only the first store that we went to we're gonna go to a bunch of them because they're like hundreds -yeah -if not thousands of jewelry stores here but it was nice he was super nice yeah he was very nice and now off to the next one babe I found my ring -yeah? how much? -12 000 quid -okay so we just went to a store and I found a ring that I really like I think it fits perfectly with my engagement ring it was a little expensive though so I am still not sure.
But I think that's the exact style I want okay how much was it? -it was 2250 quid..
-wow pretty expensive yeah so I think I can find it cheaper somewhere else or online I think it looked very nice and I would support you if you would like to get that type of ring that type of ring… not in that store for that money somewhere else yes and I am still clueless…. -jinx! Janik.. -yeah great so in case you know me, you know that I'm super indecisive I'm looking for a wedding band that looks manly.. thicker so like five or six millimeters preferably made out of uh Platinum but only Platinum, only silver is a little boring so maybe I'm looking for something that has like a black line in there or some parts of the Rings are matte -yes you don't want the typical band that everybody has it's very difficult..
-and what I'm looking for is sparkly stuff -oh. surprise! that is not thin I still want it to look like a band so like four millimeters or five or so and it's very sparkly and pretty -and pretty -I want it to go with my wedding ring it looks beautiful, it is the most beautiful ring -you mean engagement ring engagement! -you're not married yet today my head is not working… this whole experience feels way more fancy because of the accent of people like sometimes the sellers come outside when they look at us looking and they say "ah do you fancy something?" and I am like.. "of course, of course my dear" [Music] so the store that we just came out of had some rings for me that are not that bad I like this one but I also like this one and this one and this one ..
Great! -and now I don't know which one to get and they are all the same price -another problem is that we're leaving in like three weeks from now and they take like four weeks to make the ring but now at least I know kind of what type of ring I like yes it's like four different types.. you know kind of what you want, I know kind of what I want and now we're gonna find a cheaper version of it online as you can see it's getting dark already we didn't even have lunch so I would say we should go eat something we just came out of a different shop, we were just looking at the windows and then the woman from inside came out she was like "hey you want to come in and see some rings?" I was like "maybe tomorrow, I'm hungry I want to eat lunch" and then Joss saw a ring that she really liked and she was like "let me try this one on" and then we went inside and it took like another hour there was one ring that they had in Gold but they were like "oh we can show this one to you in Platinum, let me get it.." we're like "okay it's gonna take like a few minutes right?" it took like 20 minutes! -it was like half an hour dude like where did he walk? did you take a train? it was just awkward there we were sitting on one side of the table the woman was sitting on the other side of the table and we were like..
-how is the weather? -we even talked about that we talked about the weather in London dude! it was so cliche!! and then I was like "let me take a photo.." and they were like "we don't allow photos in here…" oh what a waste… so now I'm hangry so let's go eat something! -sorry about it *sings* [Music] I recorded that -but the white balance was off so you cannot use it -no I finished..< said halfway through -welcome to Waterloo Waterloo *sings* oh train's coming… -oh my God it's always a same bloody thing! here in London! this is puppycock! bloody hell! welcome to Waterloo to what? Waterloo! so it's later as you can see, super dark we went to have not lunch not dinner but linner and then it started to rain so we're going home now yeah we're going home but in the restaurant we had some fancy Wings yeah here's some footage but I made some progress and I think I am buying a wedding ring today online! so as you know right now it's like Black Friday season here so I found online and manufacturer that makes exact ring I want and since they sell it to other jewelry stores and then the jewelry stores sell it more expensive but these ones are the ones that make it so I texted them and it's gonna be way cheaper it's like a quarter of the price guys! um and it's supposed to be very good quality it has amazing reviews and I'm just gonna go for it because they have 50 off that's why it's so cheap right now too only thing is she has never tried it on so hopefully it works, hopefully it fits yeah and then we'll see..
