Our WEDDING VENUE REVEAL! + second dress and flower choices!

hello so let's talk wedding i'm getting 
married we're getting married in eight months   and today i wanted to share with you the venue 
that we picked we've put a deposit down like we   signed papers with them this is literally 
the year of the most wedding since 1984.   and so many people want to get married in 
october so we're getting married in october   we're getting married in new york city 
that's where the restaurant is we have   a really really small wedding a micro wedding 
there's only like 18 people coming i'm using   flower beauty products they sent me a whole bunch 
of stuff and i'm just trying them out right now   for fun not sponsored by them but we do have a

got engaged this was taken december 22nd 2019   the night that we got engaged this is upstairs in 
the restaurant it's called the constitution room   this is where the like after party is going to 
take place so we're gonna get married at the   restaurant i'll show you guys what it looks like 
where we're getting married it's all gonna be   under this roof so ceremony cocktail hour and then 
all of us eating dinner the father-daughter dance   i get so excited when i watch this video this is 
the vibe it's vintage but also modern it's not too   overdone like i don't know how to explain it it's 
not like 2020 2019 it's combining like vintage   classic elements with like chic modern elements 
and it's flash photography all the way if this   photography style doesn't scream new york city 
like chic micro wedding too i don't know what does   like i need to have this vibe and oh my 
god i'm just so excited the venue actually   provides flowers votive candles and they provide a 
pianist for the whole evening so that's included i   already know the song i'm going to walk down 
the aisle to there the whole restaurant's   going to be shut down no one's going to be in 
there this is the venue this is the venue so   how perfectly does this match the vibe guys i 
don't know why we didn't think of it earlier   but anyway thankfully we did this is the bar area 
so this is actually going to be our cocktail hour   it has two fireplaces it's such a beautiful room 
so after the ceremony they'll come in there and   then past this room you go into the room that 
we're getting married in the chandeliers the brick   wall this is a really historical like 
old building so it has that vintage feel   but we're gonna modernize it with like the flowers 
we do maybe flowers down the staircase i walk down   the staircase oh my god it's gonna be so dramatic 
and then that's where the cocktail hour is   this room there's a butler that's gonna have like 
champagne to greet the guests when they come in   in the constitution room there's gonna be an area 
that's cleared right in front of a fireplace i   don't know if you can see it from this view so i 
was facetiming with the owner she gave me a tour   what you're looking at right there first when you 
walk in is a fireplace this is inside the room so   you see the door on the right and then when she 
pans to the left you see the fireplace there   all the chairs in front of that and tables will be 
cleared and that's where we're gonna do the dances   it's not gonna be dancing like a dj 
type of thing it's piano all night long   and then we're gonna do one long table against 
the glass wall for everybody like everyone   will be able to fit at one table so that's the 
fireplace where we got engaged right next to that   and then that fireplace that's where we're gonna 
do the dances the fireplace that's right where we   got engaged which is so cute i also kind of want 
to have a vintage car i don't know if i want it   for the engagement shooter for the wedding 
day but i kind of like the idea of a black   vintage car because everyone does white and for 
the wedding we want to do a black and white feel   all the guys wear bow ties and i'm gonna 
ask my dad if he can and like steven's dad   and um grandpa and my grandpa this 
is what i'm thinking for the dress   i'm so obsessed with it and i think like a faux 
fur in either white or black would be so cool   uh hi it's about two or three weeks after 
you saw me in the beginning of that video   and sitting on the floor so today was the 
day that i told my like 40 person family   that we're having a microwedding if you guys 
are having a micro wedding and you want advice   on like how to tell your whole family that 
they're essentially not invited to your wedding   thumbs up this video or leave a comment and i'll 
do a whole video on how we told about 80 people   this news they all took it really well we're 
super receptive and respectful and i genuinely   think it's because we prepared what we were going 
to say and the way we said it and structured it   that was the hardest part because of course we 
love our family of course we want them to feel   included and we would love for them to be there 
on that day it just didn't work out like that   and i have some updates because i just talked 
to the lady who's like coordinating everything   at the venue so the flowers that we are 
thinking we want to do white in the room   where we get married and then we're thinking 
of doing red in the room where we have dinner   uh the cake we want to do something 
very simple like white and very simple   i wish the girls could come you wish to go i'm 
so excited for this venue it's so beautiful so   i wish all of you guys could come
