[Music] hello again and welcome to Chateau de la Tulare Queen's Escape today we want to show you the laundry which is part of the wedding preparation that we're doing here and first of all if you have a look to the left here you see the LA 100 year old trees that we want to use as an outdoor area could be for ceremonies of things party could be inside here in the orange area so let's go in and have a look [Applause] now the first thing you see is a lot of steps but on the other side there is a chance to have a ramp for an apron for handicapped people so that they could come up and down this way so there would be access for everyone come inside as you can see in here lots of tiles and a very high ceiling this building was totally renovated in 1912 so they rebid the facade with huge windows and it's 5.5 meters high so about 20 feet and that's a used it used to have a furnace floor which was removed in 1912 but uh we will have a lot of work to do in here before we're ready let's go inside here this is the room where we're thinking of having the reception dinners yeah generally Needs A Helping Hands the walls because we know that the building was renovated in 1912 to what it is now we know that the molding Engineers from that time too the windows and this fireplace was brought in at that same time from a different Chateau we don't know which one mm-hmm the rooms have a lot of light here too and we think it would be great for a party just to see that the scale is pretty tall yeah it's huge [Music] my old man on this side and in every battle it seems and then on the other lady and it's working so we're excited to give it a try okay well let's see how big the windows are when you're here and I have a little more than six feet 188 centimeters so you can imagine that's pretty tall the other room is the same size over here [Applause] that's different tiles and what we thought to do it was to have a bar and then this door over here is locked off because we want to open this up and we want to get permission to make bathrooms outside for people so that when they're having a Target we also have a connection to the castle with electricity water and drainage so it's already put on the ground connected to this place and it should be doable yeah big project so something that we're already considering is where on the premises would we want to have wedding ceremonies and a lot of brides would like to have it sort of right out in the open in the sun right in front of the Chateau which we're certainly thinking about doing that but another thing that we're keeping in mind is that it gets really hot here in the in the summertime you know we were here last and it was well over 100 degrees and we were absolutely just sweating when we were out in the sun so we have this Grove here of you know old old trees you know some 100 year old trees and it makes a little bit of a natural aisle if you look down this way and so we couldn't help but think or maybe we could have the option of sort of a woodland ceremony and you see there's all of the branches sort of hanging over from from the heights where we could hang these really long chandeliers to kind of make it a a really cool environment for brides to come down the aisle and then come to this wide open place and where we can have all of our chairs and our decorations maybe some sort of stone gazebo or other style gazebo over here you know we need of course the help of a landscaper to make this come to life and realize the idea but the thought of having you know a nice Shady wooded area just steps away from the Terrace where you can walk to after the ceremony and have drinks and and hors d'oeuvres and then steps away from the orange where then you go for your um reception uh yeah it just seemed like a nice opportunity to have ceremonies out there uh so there's this aisle here which is beautiful and then we have the other option of a second aisle so maybe this one is a little bit better than that one we haven't really decided uh yet Which Way but you can see the trees here are just a little bit more uniform so this could also be where we where we have the aisle that one is actually being used a little bit as a road and it is the old entryway to the Chateau premises you know that was used by horse and carriage 200 years ago before they built the New Roads but either way I think I think we have some beautiful options out here so we thought after a ceremony in the alley of trees we could come over here to the Terrace in front of the castle if you follow me where people could have drinks yep drinks and hors d'oeuvres directly after the ceremony [Applause] what we're doing right now is we're weeding uh and we want to clear out this area it's a very very nice Terrace it's very pretty we're pressure washing the railings and we're just cleaning everything up so this is a huge Terrace you can imagine having music here and having drinks after the wedding everybody is relaxing having fun and getting ready for the dinner so while the couple will be taking pictures after the wedding the guests could enjoy their drinks and some small food here and what we've been doing so far is we've been cleaning off the railings for high pressure water come have a look at the steps over here and it looks a lot brighter now than it was it was basically black or very very dark when we started and it still has a patina which is very nice and if you want to see how it still looks when it's dirty you can come this way [Applause] foreign and this is still dirty and it's a lot of work it's a big difference did you see it's a just a really nice open space for the drinks in order of space you know so in addition to having you know the drinks and hors d'oeuvres here after the ceremony directly you know after the reception dinner and the orange array we were thinking could also have guests come back over here uh for the band for a band that's set up here in good weather yeah Lounge music [Music] there is a chance that we might want to do a park out here in front of the castle as well which we could talk about right now too because you can imagine going all the way down in the garden as well so you could get married in front of the castle if you want to be out in the sun so we are talking about making Pathways making a little talk make it look very nice also where people could just come to visit for the bed and breakfast could just sit and relax and have their coffee or have some soft drinks or a bottle of wine to uh what was the Lao if we use over here with the old entrance to the castle and that was used up until 1935 whereas the new driveway was made over here and you can't see the driveway itself but you can see the nice trees that are aligned mm-hmm okay if a couple wanted to have a wedding out out here you know our plans are to to set up some uh maybe also a gazebo out here or another sort of central area where they could get married with uh the Chateau in the background welcome [Music]
