I went to a wedding convention held at SETEC Convention Hall in Seoul to get information about wedding dresses and photo studios. There were many booths related to wedding planners and weddings. Stage 1: Photo Studio Tour We decided to decide which studio to do the studio shoot (rehearsal shoot). This is a place called 'Island Studio' located in Hanam near Seoul. I liked that it was possible to shoot outdoors in a fairly wide area. It was a pity that most of the studios located in downtown Seoul focused on indoor shooting. We wanted to shoot both indoors and outdoors, so we found a studio near Seoul.
There is a wedding dress in the studio, so it's very comfortable. The package includes 4 bridal dresses and 2 tuxedos for the groom. There are also pretty cafes that you can use while waiting . There seemed to be quite a few people who only came to use the cafe. Stage 2: Wedding rehearsal shooting Please do your makeup and hair before shooting (of course, the groom!) Arrive 3 hours before the shooting So, you
have to choose what to wear when filming.
I was contacted in advance to wear clothes that are easy to put on and take off. After everything was ready, I was introduced to a photographer who would work hard all day while waiting. "What are you doing?" "I'm getting ready" (preparing for filming) I've stored my belongings in the waiting room. I bought sandwiches and gimbap for the day in advance. You need a lot of stamina. All accessories (earrings, hairpiece, veil, etc.) are also prepared, so you don't need to bring anything special . About 5 couples are filming at the same time at the filming site while watching other couples shooting, but the lines of movement never overlap. . A glimpse of the dress My aunt took care of us all day. She helped me put on the dress and picked out accessories to match the dress. She even helped me with the hair so that each photo shoot concept would fit the dress.
It was really helpful. They also took pictures. Finished look #1 while adding volume to my hair. Practice smiling as the photographer told me while moving my mouth . Shooting started! The makeup stayed on all day. The lights in the garden set the mood. Let's make it more romantic. We waited in the waiting room until it got dark, having a simple dinner.
The shooting is almost over . Lastly, we finished shooting today with this photo. Stage 3: Finding a wedding venue There are 4 types of wedding halls in Korea 1. Convention hall wedding (general) 2. Hotel wedding 3. House wedding and 4. Church wedding We decided to do a 'house wedding'. First: Ravidus There was a manager who spoke English well, so it was very helpful. In this room, you can watch the wedding ceremony live. You can change it. You can decide by looking at the weather conditions on the day. I liked the fact that you can change it without any restrictions . Everything is set up . There is also a pyebaek room. After the tour, go to the consultation room. The manager will tell you the options and costs in detail. Get a pamphlet and estimate . It is common for large-scale weddings to be held in an indoor wedding hall .
There is also a chapel where weddings can be held. It was between the morning and afternoon weddings when I visited, so the guests were already there. Attending is another difference between Korean and American weddings. That's why we need more space for the reception. The manager showed us an example of the table setting.
