In this video we will do a side by side Heart
Shaped Cut diamond size comparison on the finger or hand as well as give you different
price comparisons at each size. All along giving you different tips and tricks
to help you save on diamond shopping. Each Heart Cut Size in this video is compared
to this 1 Carat Diamond on a hand with a size 6 finger. This 1 carat diamond at Kay Jewelers like
most Brick and Mortar jewelry stores is about $15,900 and that is because it is very high
quality. Now also on this video we take those diamonds
and compare them to the exact same quality diamond from a website I will put in the description
below this video.
This 1 carat is $8,140 so you'd save over
$7,700 from my link below this video. First lets start with a .25 or 1/4 carat heart
diamond on the hand. Compared to a 1 carat heart cut diamond it
is very unimpressive and you can barely tell it is even a heart shape at this point. In fact any diamond this small is not good
as a center stone. Next we look at a .33 or 1/3 carat heart shaped
cut diamond. Usually this is the lowest people go for a
center stone diamond. But still it is hard to tell that it is even
a heart shaped cut so I would go higher or get a different cut shape. Heart diamonds can be worn pointing in or
out. Normally the diamond pointing out means you
are engaged and in means you are married. A .5 carat or 1/2 carat diamond is a more
common size of a diamond. Now, one of the up sides of heart shaped diamonds
is that they are generally less expensive than equal carats of Round Cut Diamonds. The main reason for that is that round cut
does tend to sparkle a tiny bit more than heart shaped diamonds.
Like here you'd save over $400 if you purchased
from the link below this video instead of Jared. A .75 or 3/4 carat heart cut diamond is starting
to get close to a 1 carat diamond. The big issue with special cuts like this
is they don't get official cut grades. Cut grade is imporatant to know because it
tells you the most about how much the diamond sparkles and if the diamond looks as big as
the carat suggests. Watch my other videos for more on this. Because heart shaped Diamonds tend to sparkle
less than round cut diamonds having a great cut is important to make sure the diamond
sparkles at its peak. If that is important to you I will also link
to a diamond website that give an unofficial diamond cut grade as well.
Because if you get a bad cut you could get
a shadow in the middle of the diamond that takes away from its sparkle. I find the cut grade from that website to
be pretty accurate. I will post that website below as well. Here is a 1.2 almost a 1 1/4 carat heart shaped
diamond on the finger. In my other videos I compare different diamond
colors, cuts and clarity and give tips to avoid being ripped off. I will put that video at the end as well. At Jaredsthis diamond is $8120 and $5060 from
the link below. This is a 1 3/4 or 1.75 carat heart cut diamond
on the finger. Heart shaped diamonds are great but be careful
because they show color and clarity flaws very easily I'd stay above a VS2 Clarity and
G Color.
And I always recommend an excellent cut too. If you buy this diamond from the website below
the savings start around $3,000 and diamonds from Jared are more expensive in the store
as well. This is a 2 1/2 carat heart diamond. All brick and mortar jewelry stores sell diamonds
at an inflated rate. It costs money to pay for their rent and their
salespeople which all inflate the cost of your diamond. Now were you'd save $15600 if you bought from
the website below instead of Kay's. My biggest tip when buying a diamond is to
have your significant other go diamond shopping at the mall with you or her best friend. Then make note of the diamond specs that she
chose. After come back and buy the exact same quality
diamond from the link below this video and you'll save a ton of money or you can spend
the same amount of money that you would have spent at the other diamond store and get an
even bigger diamond.
That will definitely impress her. Then just take that diamond back to the diamond
store and have it set in their favorite band. Or you can buy a similar and less expensive
band from one of those websites I have linked to below. So in the comments, I will answer any of your
personal questions about diamonds you are thinking about buying or doubts about what
you should do when you buy a diamond. If you are looking to buy a diamond or even
if you switch to another device come back and buy the diamond by clicking on that link
because it will help you out and I am all about helping people buy diamonds.
