How to BUDGET for your WEDDING | R50 000

hi i'm zenobia davis i'm from 
blue olive events and today   we're going to take you through 
a wedding budget of 50 000 rand so if you're having a wedding of 50 000 rand i 
think the biggest factor that you're going to have   to take into consideration is your guest count 
because you need to look at things such as venueu   hire catering your photographer your videographer 
if you're going to have one are you going to have   a dj we've put together a pie chart for you 
which will help you understand uh what elements   you can spend your budget on so percentage-wise if 
you're looking at 40 percent of 50 000 rand that   will give you 20 000 rand to spend on catering 
and venue hire for photography and videography if   you're looking at 11 that will give you five and a 
half thousand rand to spend on them and um attire   if you're looking at ten percents you're looking 
at five thousand rand to spend on your attire   which would be more beneficial to to hire than 
to buy so with uh your dj which we allocated   seven percent uh towards that you're looking at 
three and a half thousand rand to spend for a dj   decoe and florals we put at ten percent which 
is five thousand to spend on decor and florals   and then hair and makeup which is at five 
percent which is two and a half thousand and   for yourself so when looking at your marriage 
officer you're looking at two point five percent   of your budget which is one 1250 that you 
can look at spending on your marriage officer   um coordinator for the day we're looking at 
10 percent for your coordinator which is 5 000   of your budget and then stationary we said between 
three and five percent so you're looking at uh 1   250 to spend minimum on on your stationary 
and then your favours um you could spend   250 or you could diy so my top tips for working 
out your budget is first is to sit down with your   fiance and come up with a number that you are 
both comfortable with spending secondly take   that number and prioritise what's important to 
you guys is venue important is catering more   important or is the photographer more important 
also when budgeting remember that the more guests   you have the more you have to spend and then also 
consider how important decor and florals is to you   so florals are expensive so it would be 
advisable just to add a bit more budget to your   decor and flowers and then also look at including
