Attention, today it will be a bit romantic here … I had the order to make new wedding rings from customer material. The widths and the ring sizes were given – I had a free hand with the design. I have 27 grams of customer material available for this order. Using the volume of the planned rings, I calculate the expected weight in 750 / – yellow gold. The rings are of different widths. Therefore, from now on they will go their separate ways for further processing. The rings are out of the fire. and after stripping, I forge the material to the appropriate sizes and transfer the design to the rings. This is followed by the elaboration of the engraving by hand with a special tool, the so-called graver.
After the engraving has been made, the lateral contours of the rings are worked out. The structuring of the surfaces as well as the glossy edges by pressure polishing serve as eye-catchers with a wow effect..
